I am a fourth-generation gem and jewelry professional with experience as an independent appraiser, appraisal reviewer, gemologist, pawnbroker, jewelry buyer, consultant, conference presenter, and expert witness. I own and operate an NAJA Accredited and AGA Certified Gemological Laboratory, adhering to recognized professional standards in gemological evaluation. In addition to providing appraisal services for private clients and industry professionals, I have been subcontracted to assist in the valuation of jewelry and watches seized by federal law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). Recognized as an expert in my field, I have provided expert witness testimony in both civil and federal court.

I offer appraisal services for a variety of intended uses, including estate and probate needs, post-loss and post-damage, seized property, scheduling insurance, dissolution of marriage, noncash charitable contribution, forced liquidation, and more. My Appraisal Reports are prepared in conformity with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), and are considered Qualified Appraisals as defined in 26 CFR § 1.170A – 17 of the federal tax code.
