Scott's passion for collecting led him to launch Rare Concept, a boutique consultant and appraisal firm which focuses on helping collectors build and realize the value of their luxury items and art. Being an expert in gems, jewelry and fine art enables him to advise and consultant a range of cilental. Services include, independant appraisals for insurance, estate tax, liquidation and equitable distribution and fair market value purposes.

Past positions include, Head of Valuations at the International Gemological institute (IGI), a world leading gemological laboratory and Co-founder of Gleem & Co, a luxury consignment platform. Scott graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Business Management and holds the accreditation of Master Gemologist Appraiser®* from the American Society of Appraisers and Graduate Gemologist (GIA). Passions include collecting all things vintage, contemporary art and design objects. Scott is based in New York City & Fairfield County, CT.
