Robin Muhmel

Robin Muhmel is a Vice President at Valuation Research Corporation in Houston, Texas, specializing in machinery & equipment valuation. She has nearly 10 years of experience valuing PP&E for financial and tax reporting, internal planning, and litigation purposes, including ASC 805 purchase price allocations, bankruptcy fresh-starts, impairment analyses, IRC 1060 allocations, FIRPTA analyses, IRC 45Q 80/20 analyses, and tax disputes.

Ms. Muhmel is skilled in valuation modeling, applying the cost, market, and income approaches to value, including customized "greenfield" direct cost approach analyses for specialized assets, including but not limited to, refineries, storage & loading terminals, gathering & transmission systems, fossil fuel and renewable power plants, mineral processing plants, and various chemical processing plants.

Ms. Muhmel received her bachelor's degree in finance from Louisiana State University. In addition, she holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in Machinery & Technical Specialties from the American Society of Appraisers.
