I regularly provide appraisals, consultation and gemological services to the public and jewelry trade in various capacities and for a variety of uses including insurance scheduling, loss settlement, estate tax liability, charitable donation, equitable distribution for trusts and decedent estates and dissolution of marital estates. I have provided consulting expert services for attorneys for cases involving valuations for insurance loss claims, standard practices within the jewelry trade and FTC compliance. I received my second ASA designation in Appraisal Review & Management in order to provide experty opinion regarding the conformity of 3rd party appraisals with a specified standard of care for litigation support. I am also a course developer and instructor of valuation courses for ASA.
