Lori L. Stefek

For over twenty years, Lori has been in the business of lifting the burden of estate liquidation from her clients’ shoulders; she has turned her passion for helping people and her eye for hidden value into a full-service estate liquidation management firm.

Lori Stefek started her career in personal property in the estate sale business in 1995, selling art, furniture, and household goods throughout Southeast Michigan. Soon after, she realized her clients needed a more comprehensive approach to the liquidation of personal property. In 2004, Lori became a member of the International Society of Appraisers, and after years of specialized education earned her designation as a Certified Appraiser of Personal Property (CAPP) in 2013. In 2006, recognizing the need for a market to sell her client’s more luxurious goods, Lori graduated from the Missouri Auction School. A year later she opened her international auction house: Stefek’s Auctioneers and Appraisers. Stefek’s specializes in fine art, 20th century furniture and design, important collections, and more.

Stefek’s offers estate liquidation management services, encompassing personal property appraisals, auction services, estate sales, and clean outs.
