Jennifer Bird brings a lifetime of exposure to antiques and art, continuing in the family tradition of Modernism Gallery, consultant for Modernsim.com and as President & Lead Appraiser of Emmett Appraisal & Consulting Group . Emmett Appraisal & Consulting Group performs several estate and estate planning appraisals each year as well as reports to obtain insurance coverage, damage and loss claims including loss of value reports after repair, charitable donation, probate and partnership dissolution or equitable distribution appraisals. At MODERNISM.COM Jennifer helps curate the additions to the site and in 2023 she founded ModPorium.

Opportunities to travel to Napa and Sonoma, California, France and Spain, earned her the ability to learn about wine valuation. Having been raised in the very Latin domiated Miami and as an exchange student in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she was able to become fluent in Spanish.

Jennie is also a passionate collector of "pop culture" with a focus in Disney animation art and collectibles aka "Disneyana". She also grew up in and around the business of Modernism Gallery and has a vast knowledge of Art Deco and Modern Design. Jennifer is also a collaborator, advisor and reporter for NEMHOF News.

Jennie has been educated in Appraisal Studies by the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and the Appraisers Association of America (AAA). She is an Accredited Member (ISA-AM) of the International Society of Appraisers and has served on the board of the South Florida Chapter of ISA since 2010. President of the chapter in 2017 and 2018. Served as as Vice President in 2019. The chapter has since closed due to Covid-19. Jennie is a graduate of Daytona State College in Daytona Beach, Florida.
