Genae Fields is a Certified Appraiser in both Fine Art and Antiques, Furnishings, and Decorative Arts.  This is the highest level of credentialing bestowed by the International Society of Appraisers.  In addition to this designation, she is recognized by ISA as a Private Client Specialist.  There are less than 30 individuals in the United States and Canada who currently hold the distinction of ISA Certification through the discipline of Fine Art and even fewer that hold the distinction in both Fine Art and Antiques, Furnishings, and Decorative Arts.

Genae is the Owner and Certified Appraiser of AAE Appraisal Services, LLC. which is based in Houston, Texas and serves clients nationwide.  She has over 26 years of experience in the appraisal of paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media, and sculpture as well as collectibles, silver, porcelain, furniture, and textiles.  Items are often appraised for donation, equitable distribution, estate or financial planning, divorce, insurance, or to establish a fair asking or buying price of items.  Genae also provides Consultation Services for those that may need verbal valuation suggestions or guidance but do not require a written appraisal report.

She earned her Master Degree from University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas and Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Louisiana Monroe in Monroe, Louisiana.

To enhance her formal education, she has traveled throughout the United States and Europe visiting museums, galleries, and artisans, learning from renowned experts and gaining hands on experience.

In addition to appraising and consulting, Fields' specialty areas have taken her into the college classroom where she has taught courses in Art History and Textiles.
