David Pietig

David Pietig has 26 years of industrial equipment experience, specializing in the purchase, sale, liquidation, and valuation of plastic plants, machinery, and related industrial assets. He has extensive experience relative to production of blow molding, blown film, extrusion, injection molding, recycling and thermoforming machinery as well as to the full range of ancillary and support equipment common to the plastics processing industry.

Pietig is regularly called upon by numerous parties to render opinions and judgments concerning equipment values, marketability, condition, useful life, and other pertinent valuation elements. Further, he has participated in liquidations of various industrial facilities in a range of locations in North America. His equipment activities have taken him across the United States as well as to Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica and the United Kingdom.

Pietig attended Iowa State University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in advertising and minors in English and Spanish. David also attended North Park University in Chicago, earning a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in international business. He has produced several seminars on the proper identification and qualification of plastics processing machinery for equipment dealers, equipment appraisers, and trade organizations.
