About
I am an accredited senior appraiser specializing in handmade Oriental, Persian and European rugs and tapestries. I have current accreditation through ASA and my reports are prepared under guidelines of Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) as published by the Appraisal Foundation.
I have management experience in various levels of the rug industry including purchasing, retail sales and liquidations as well as maintenance, cleaning and restoration operations. I am well informed when it comes to cleaning, repairing and restoring options to remedy faults and condition issues caused by usage, accidents or other events.
I have provided consultation, appraisal reports and expert testimony in cases relating to my specialty. Past assignments include insurance loss claim, dissolution of marriage, equitable distribution, charitable donation, gifting, estate planning, arbitration, mediation.
