Amanda McGhee ASA, MGA®

Amanda McGhee is an independent jewelry appraiser and owner of St. Louis Jewelry Appraisals LLC, which opened February of 2009. Amanda began working in the jewelry industry in 1995, while still in high school, she quickly realized that she had found her career path. With a passion for education, she has acquired numerous titles and is currently continuing her education with American Society of Appraisers. She holds a diploma in Jewelry Design and Manufacturing from Gem City College in Quincy IL (1999) and a Graduate Gemologist degree from Carlsbad, CA (2000). Amanda is currently a member of American Society of Appraisers, and National Association of Jewelry Appraisers, and is current on USPAP compliance. She is currently serving as the board president for the St Louis GIA Alumni chapter. Amanda has testified in cases involving division of marital assets, division of estate assets, and cause of loss regarding jewelry store negligence. Her appraisal expertise runs the gamete of Insurance, Estate, Fair Market, Liquidation, Charitable Contribution, and Hypothetical Appraisals.
